This course will be spent running class I to III rapids, depending on participant skill levels. Teaching is done with a challenge by choice philosophy that offers portage options as well as running a rapid. The course will meet on moving water and continue skill development in river reading, necessary gear and equipment, maneuvering on the river, and practice in safety, rescue skills and forward surfing on river features.
