Paddle through the heart of Vermont with Friends of the Winooski River this summer on our six day paddling adventure. The trip begins in Marshfield, Vermont just downstream from the headwaters in Cabot. By day three participants are paddling through the Green Mountains with views of Camel's Hump and the Worcester Range. After passing through some amazing nature preserves in Chittenden County the trip ends at the mouth of Lake Champlain. This guided trip features an on-board naturalist who will provide daily presentations on the natural history of the watershed. He'll also be available to answer questions participants may have about natural features along the way.
Participants can choose to paddle the full six days - over 60 miles or a single day. They must provide their own boat, pfd, paddles and camping gear. All food and camping sites as well as shuttle service for multi-day paddlers is provided. For more information visit our website: http://www.winooskiriver.org/Sojourn.
