This three day instructor certification workshop and exam is designed to refine the teaching  and group leadership skills of already competent paddlers interested in becoming instructors in areas of mild winds and modest currents.   Certification is based upon successful demonstration of competency in teaching, safety and paddling skills. Those meeting the American Canoe Association standards will receive Instructor Certification. It is also  possible to become certified at level 1 at the conclusion of the workshop.
