Head Waters Outfitters will have a continental breakfast from 8am-9pm and will begin instruction and orientations at 9:00am.

The Headwaters of the French Broad River begins in Rosman North Carolina where the North Fork and the West Fork flow together.  The Annual Upper French Broad River Clean-up helps to maintain and beauty this section on the French Broad which flows through the rural community of Rosman and its surrounding farm land.   A  more quiet and peaceful section of the French Broad, section 1 is mainly Class 1 to 2 waters and averages waist deep waters.  Maintaining healthy waterways and keeping our river clean has become a highly anticipated joint community effort.  School groups, college classes, and community members come together for the cause, and keep the beginning of one of the world’s oldest rivers healthy!
