Other volunteers, including youth groups, will pick up trash along the banks, trails and parking lots. What you getVolunteers will receive a free boat ride, t-shirt, trash bags, gloves and reusable water bottle. What to bringWeather and work appropriate clothes. Long pants are preferred. Sturdy shoes or boots. Sunscreen and bug spray. DirectionsRiverfront Park - 1201 N 2nd Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048 From St. Joe: Head South on I-29. Turn right onto MO-371 N/U.S. Spur 71 S (Exit 20). Follow MO 371 which turns into MO-273 N and then turns into MO-92 E (approx 1 mile). Turn Right onto MO-92 W and follow 8 miles into Kansas, crossing over the Missouri River. Turn left onto N. 4th St. and take the 1st left onto Dakota Street. Go forward past 2nd Street and follow the signs to the parking lot by the boat ramp.
From Kansas City: Head North on I-29. Turn left onto MO-371 N/U.S. Spur 71 S (Exit 20). Follow MO 371 which turns into MO-273 N and then turns into MO-92 E (approx 1 mile). Turn Right onto MO-92 West and follow 8 miles into Kansas, crossing over the Missouri River. Turn left onto N. 4th St. take the 1st left onto Dakota Street. Go forward past 2nd Street and follow the signs to the parking lot by the boat ramp.
From Columbia/St.Louis: Head West on 1-70 toward Kansas City. Continue on I-70W towards Bonner Springs, KS. Take exit 224 and merge onto KS-7 North/US-73. Head North 16 miles to Leavenworth. Turn Right onto Dakota Street. Go forward past 2nd Street and follow the signs to the parking lot by the boat ramp.
