All instructors must have an instructor update during their four-year certification period. Rick Wiebush and Mitch Mitchell will be the ITs for this update course. There will be two tracks: one for current L1/2 instructors and one for current L3 instructors. Within each track, there will be multiple modules. They include one on changes in ACA policy and programs (on Friday night) + one on a review/assessment of strokes, rescues, etc + one on teaching + an elective course designed to enhance your skills. The elective may be: 1) incident management; or 2) running a surf/current session. Other electives may be added depending on the number of participants. The cost is $225.
