Paddle Georgia is the country's largest, week-long canoe/kayak camping adventure that takes place on a different Georgia river each year. This year's event will take place June 20-26 on the Ogeechee River, a blackwater gem along Georgia's coast.

Paddlers cover about 14 miles a day on the river with shuttles provided to and from nearby campsites (local high schools) with showers, restroom facilities and indoor/outdoor camping.

Catered meals, nightly programs and activities and 300-400 fellow paddlers ranging in age from 4-84 make this journey much more than just a paddle trip. Some participants have called it "summer camp for grown ups."
