Louisville, KY. Riverthon℠ 2016 will be held in Louisville Kentucky on September 17, 2016. The three Paddlesport race series features three downriver races on the Ohio River: The Louisville 50, a 50 mile adventure race from Westport, KY to West Point, KY; The Mayor’s Cup, a 22 mile race from Westport, KY to Louisville’s Waterfront Park; The Riverthon℠ 7, a 7 mile race from Harrods Creek, KY to Waterfront Park. The Riverthon℠ racing series started in 2011 with running of the first Mayor’s Cup Race. In 2013 the Louisville 50 race was added and in 2015 it has grew to three events.
Riverthon℠ is produced and conducted by River City Paddlesports, Inc. a 501c3 all-volunteer nonprofit corporation. A portion of donations for Riverthon℠ are designated for charity. Event information please visit http://riverthon.org.
