Reporting a Suspected Code of Conduct Violation:

 

If you suspect that there has been a violation of the Code of Conduct, please report it to the ACA by:

 

Violations of the Code of Conduct:

 

Upon receiving information pertaining to a potential Code of Conduct violation, the ACA Staff will take the following steps:

  • gather information from all relevant individuals
  • provide the information to the Hearing Panel
  • If the Hearing Panel determines:
    • no violation occurred, communicate to the member or employee and any relevant individuals
    • a violation occurred, communicate an appropriate disciplinary action to the member or employee

 

Hearing Panel:

 

If a member or employee's opportunity to participate in ACA events is denied or if they are charged with a violation of the code they have the right to a hearing.

 

If an individual panel member is unable to participate in the Hearing Panel, or if a Hearing Panel position is currently vacant, the ACA Executive Director may appoint another individual to serve on the Hearing Panel in that capacity.
