The ACA is closely monitoring COVID-19 developments, as they pertain to national office operations and upcoming events.

We realize that many ACA instructors & trainers have upcoming courses scheduled which may require cancellation or rescheduling. We understand the stress this may cause, and we want to support all our members and instructors so that their courses can be conducted at appropriate times, when local & national health and safety concerns are properly mitigated.

Please see this risk management update from our insurance provider, Sadler Sports.

*The rescheduling process described below only applies to ACA instructional events conducted by certified instructors & trainers. For affiliate organizations & Paddle America Club events, please communicate directly with the ACA Insurance Coordinator.

*The rescheduling process described below only applies to ACA Instructors & Trainers. If you are registered for a course as a student, please communicate with the course host/coordinator for more information.

If your upcoming course(s) need to reschedule and you are using ACA insurance coverage:

Please log into your account within the ACA Course Management System (CMS), and view your open course registration forms by clicking the tab titled "Course Registration/EZ Reporting" on the left side of the screen. Select the course you wish to reschedule by clicking the pen & paper icon to the right. Enter your selected new dates and click 'Submit.'

The ACA insurance department will be alerted to the fact that you changed your course dates, and will work with you on obtaining a revised insurance certificate. Sanctioning fees that you previously paid will be applied to your rescheduled course. The SEI Department will change the course dates on the ACA calendar, if you requested the course be posted.

If you have additional questions, please submit this 'Contact the Insurance Department' form, so that the ACA staff has all relevant information so as to efficiently and effectively communicate with you about your insurance concerns.

If your upcoming course(s) need to reschedule and are not using ACA insurance coverage:

Please log into your account within the ACA Course Management System (CMS), and view your open course registration forms by clicking the tab titled "Course Registration/EZ Reporting" on the left side of the screen. Select the course you wish to reschedule by clicking the pen & paper icon to the right. Enter your selected new dates and click 'Submit.' The SEI Department will be alerted to your date changes, and will update the course dates on the ACA calendar, if you requested the course be posted.

There is nothing more you need to do - when your course is complete (on the rescheduled dates), please submit the corresponding course roster at that time.

Thank you for your dedication to happy, healthy, and safe paddling!
